Why this database exists

Florida regulates condominium and cooperative associations through the Department of Business & Professional Regulation, and every association files corporate records with the Division of Corporations. But those records live in separate systems, in bulk files and lookup forms that answer one query at a time. HOA Census assembles them into a single verified dataset: one page per association, one page per county, and statistics you can cite.

The database is rebuilt from primary sources on a fixed cadence, and every figure on the site carries its as-of date. Read the methodology for sources, verification steps, and known limitations — or start from the Florida statistics report.
